LexiCon Programme - first draft out now!

We are delighted to bring you a first draft of our programme! Check it out at http://lexicon.cons.nz/events.php.

The programme includes panels, workshops, gaming, filking, and more - as well as the usual ceremonies and speeches. Whether you're interested in learning about fictional eco-systems, listening to a discussion of Doctor Who companions, making your own boardgame pieces, or meeting up with old and new friends for the quiz and social events, we're confident there's something for everyone.

This is a very early draft. We are working on other events; there will be additions and changes, there could be cancellations - though we will keep these to a minimum. But we want to give you as much information as possible as early as we can. Keep an eye on the events page - and future announcements - for updates.

We have some features that we hope will make it easier to plan your schedule. If you are participating, make sure you're logged in when you view the page, and your events will be highlighted. You can also use the "tags" feature to find the events that most interest you - for example, select science and it will show you events like a panel on science writing, and a presentation on NZ in space. Note that many of our events cover multiple genres and multiple media - and are tagged accordingly.

Thank you to everyone who helped us put this together, and particularly those who have agreed to participate. If you're interested in participating, there are still some spaces, so get in touch and tell us what you'd like to talk about. Also feel free to contact us if you have any general feedback on what you'd like to see.

We're really excited about this programme - and hope you are too. We look forward to seeing you in just under four months.
